Dragon to the Cyclones

MIAMI - The Miami Cyclones today traded Isaiah McCarty and Landon Howard to the Los Angeles Fireballs in exchange for the Dragon Liu Jinghau, Stoyanov Vitas, and the Fireballs 2022 first round draft choice.

General Manager Logan Laser said that there were not many players in the JBL he would accept in a McCarty trade but the Dragon was one. The first rounder now gives the Cyclones 3 picks in the first round of the 2022 draft.

Laser has dealt fan favorites Mark Robertson, Rickey Douglas, and now McCarty. Although he is taking some heat with the team losing this season, Laser said that he feels with young players such as Jamaine Curry, the Dragon, and Lucious Barclay and 4 first round picks in the next 2 drafts, that the team is building a top JBL contender.

It is expected that Jinghau will move right into McCarty's starting small forward role. It is hoped that the additional playing time will help with his development. It is also rumored that the team will now move to sign starting center Antoine Hall to an extension.
