Houston losing streak hits 6

HOUSTON - No lead is safe for the Lightning as they find ways to blow games in fun and exciting matters
Lightning 114 - Tritons 117:
The home crowd was treated to an exciting brand of basketball as the Lightning flashed (get it?) to a heady 27 point lead by halftime. The speech given must have been something else as a 30 point dominating second half saw the home team fall by 3. The main culprit for the struggles was one Pace LeGarde as he tallied a -17 on the court and did a poor job of filling up the box score. Antoine Hall, on the other hand, was superb, going 12 of 14 for 28 points and chipped in with 11 boards. Harrison was also super with 23 points and 11 boards. Hood added in 13 assists. LaGarde's backup, Wallace, had much more of an impact despite a poor shooting performance, adding a +12 in the +/- rating. Navigato and Dolan were the positive men for the tritons, while Ivory chipped in 28 points.
Scorps 119 - Lightning 107
If a 27 point lead at half isn't safe, what do you think a 7 point lead, against a better team, will mean? If you think the answer is obvious, you are correct. We only were outscored by 19 in the second half, so that is some improvement. The Scorps are just a better team right now and there isn't much we can do. Pace LeGarde, after a miserable game last time out, was the best player for us, only going -3, while Harrison was a -16. OG and Lee had a minimal positive effect on the statsheet. DeAndre Buie had 1 assist and no points on 0-6 shooting in 8 minutes of game time. Some games you just never had a shot at.
