Oakland brings Nix back in trade with Skyhawks

OAKLAND -

The Oakland Tritons made a move to bring in more guard depth by trading Devin Roberts and their 2026 and 2027 second round picks for Cameron Nix from the St. Louis Skyhawks.

Cameron Nix won a championship with the Tritons in 2018 and played for Oakland from 2017 to 2021 after being traded with Bryant Rodgers for Antoine Peeler and Simon Hartford. Nix had been coming off the bench at St. Louis and will fill a similar role helping Demetric Vaughn shoulder the scoring load at shooting guard.

Reggie Cross: "We're excited to bring Cameron back to Oakland where he enjoyed much of his success. His previous chemistry with Marcus and knowledge of the Tritons system should put him at an advantage joining out team and we're hopeful that he can help us in our playoff push."

"Despite playing limited minutes, Devin was a great locker room presence and will be missed. It'll be a homecoming of sorts for him as well playing five years in St. Louis before being traded to us last year."
