Power Rankings: Week Four

  • By Bedouin, Day 35, 2020

1. Chicago Jailbirds (8-4, + 2.9) (Last Week #3, + 2)
8 consecutive wins and counting.

2. Nashville Stars (11-4, + 7.5) (Last Week #1, - 1)
Missed Kaiser in their sole loss this week to the Fireballs.

3. Las Vegas Scorpions (10-4, + 7.1) (Last Week #6, + 3)
Responded to angry coach with 4 consecutive wins.

4. Kansas City Knights (9-4, + 1.5) (Last Week #4, No Change)
3 wins featuring a strong victory over the Tritons, who knocked them out of the playoffs last year.

5. Seattle Thunder (10-5, + 3.7) (Last Week #5, No Change)
Went 3-2, both losses by a point. Almost derailed the J'birds streak.

6. New York Renegades (8-6, + 5.6) (Last Week #8, + 2)
Going 2-0 and getting Rashard back is a pretty good week.

7. Oakland Tritons (8-6, + 1.4) (Last Week #2, - 5)
Went 1-2 against a tough slate. I may have spoken to soon about Nix.

8. Los Angeles Fireballs (8-6, - 1.0) (Last Week #12, + 4)
Big win against the Stars. Looking like a playoff team again.

9. Austin Rockets (7-6, + 2.9) (Last Week #10, + 1)
Ended losing streak at 6 games with a win over the Vultures.

10. Houston Lightning (6-6, - 0.1) (Last Week #13, + 3)
This week the Lightning trumped the Thunder. Almost perfectly .500 statistically.

11. Detroit Mustangs (6-6, + 2.3) (Last Week #11, No Change)
Split series against Lightning cost them 10th spot but Bundu continues to impress.

12. New Orleans Hurricanes (9-9, - 1.3) (Last Week #7, - 5)
Still in playoff hunt but losing streak is now at 6. Save us Leon Bowen, you're our only hope.

13. St. Louis Skyhawks (6-7, - 1.2) (Last Week #14, + 1)
The one-point loss to the Fireballs cost them a perfect week.

14. Phoenix Vultures (6-7, + 0.4) (Last Week #9, - 5)
Went 1-4. Plummeting.

15. Miami Cyclones (6-9, - 2.4) (Last Week #17, + 2)
Finished 3-2 this week. Look like a different team with a true point guard.

16. Mexico City Jaguars (6-9, - 6.1) (Last Week #15, - 1)
The team went 1-3, but Hooker is now starting and Rice has shot better since he got his starting spot back.

17. Atlanta Devils (5-11, - 2.0) (Last Week #16, - 1)
They're a better team than their record, but are running out of time to show it. Season is 1/4 over.

18. Toronto Huskies (4-9, - 7.8) (Last Week #18, No Change)
0-3 week. Lost a narrow one against fellow rebuilding team the Jags.

19. Cincinnati Kings (3-10, - 5.2) (Last Week #20, + 1)
Almost pulled off the upset of the week against the Stars.

20. Philadelphia Warriors (4-12, - 6.7) (Last Week #19, - 1)
Foster finally gets the starting job due to injury. 16-17 with 5 blocks suggests he may keep it.
