LOS ANGELES - It was a cardiac 2 games for the Los Angeles Fireballs in the last sim, where the team split again winning a close OT in Dallas while having their hearts broken in a game winner in Los Angeles. The team's chemistry is starting to set with the team performing better in this last sim.

Fireballs Takes Revenge, Nips Predators in OT at Dallas
Predators - 104
Fireballs - 109 (OT)

After suffering the L in opening week vs the Predators in Dallas, the Fireballs came back looking to redeem themselves and they did just that by taking the game coming back from 15 points down in the 4th quarter to force over time and then close the game out with a W. Predators has been leading almost the whole game as Chris LaCruz wasn't a big factor in the game he finished a modest 15 points (6/13 FG, 1/7 3FG, 2/2 FT), 8 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal and 1 block but committed 5 turnovers. Predators was lead by Jermaine Wade once again with 26 points, 3 rebounds and 3 steals.

Backup PG TJ Holloway sends the game into OT sinking 2 FTs (his only FTs of the game) with 21 ticks remaining in the game. In the OT period the Fireballs didn't let the Predators lead as Center Keemar Campbell knocks a 3pt FG with 2 seconds left to pull away 106-101, the Predators came a little bit close sinking a trey to finish the game but it was too late as the Fireballs came away with the W. Fireballs was lead by forward Devan Carroll who posted 18 points (8/19 FG, 2/7 3FG), 8 rebounds, 6 assists, 1 steal and 1 block. LA Bench Mob contributed 37 points lead by Guzo's (Aririguzoh) 9 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 2 blocks. Wilkinson and Cavenell both had 8 points as well.

"That was a wild ride, coming to Dallas and to battle these guys is always a challenge for us. They have probably have one of the loudest crowd in the league and you just have to come ready. TJ (Holloway) saved us with those clutch FTs and then Keem (Keemar Campbell) sealed the W with the dagger 3 for us to come home with a win." Assistant Coach Alton Wilkes said at the post-game interview.

Q's Buzzer Beater in LA Spoils LaCruz 41 Points Explosion
Fireballs - 111
Huskies - 112

After coming from behind the day before, the Fireballs is in the receiving end of a come from behind bid by the pesky Huskies who spoils Chris LaCruz's best performance this season so far, "The Juice" was in the zone after a so-so game against the Predators, he came home with a mission scoring season high 41 points (17/22 FG, 5/8 3FG, 2/4 FT) and flirted with a triple double with 11 dimes and 8 boards also added 1 steal. Missing only 5 shots the whole game. But the story of the game is the come from behind effort of the Huskies who at one point was in the 4th quarter was leading by 13 points after a 37 points explosion in the 3rd quarter, the Huskies then went on to score 31 points in the 4th quarter while the Fireballs were able to just score 19 with Huskies mounting a comeback.

Huskies was lead by LA native Darius Barry who scored 30 points shooting well 11/19 FG, 4/7 3FG and 4/5 FT, helping him is Q Williamson who posted 20 points, 15 rebounds and 5 assists and 3 blocks and the eventual game winner with no time remaining in the clock. It was probably Q's most important shot in the season as he saved the Huskies to fall in the Forum. LA Bench Mob was firing but wasn't enough to secure the win as they collectively scored 41 points to Toronto's 2. A re-energized Jamal Wilkinson lead the LA Bench Mob with 15 points (5/7 FG, 3/5 3FG, 2/2 FT) to go along with 5 assists, 3 rebounds and a steal. Lorenzo Charles bounced back after struggling vs Dallas as he went on to score 11 points on 5/10 shooting night. iMac was the only other Fireball to score double figures alongside, LaCruz, Wilkinson and Charles as he scored 12 points also chipping in 9 rebounds, 7 assists, 2 blocks and 1 steal. Kareem Teague seems to inherit the slump from Wilkinson as he only shot 1/7 (all from 3) and scoring only 3 points (he also struggled vs Predators as he shot 4/13 FG, 2/7 3FG in his debut at SG). The buzzer beater handed the Fireballs their 6th lose in the season with a 4-6 card in 10 games.

"It was definitely a big blow for us. We had the game and we let it slip away in the last quarter, Huskies is a powerhouse of a team and Darius (Barry) was having his way in the offensive end. It's funny because just yesterday we were the one who came from behind and now we are on the receiving end of it. Well, that is JBL Action for you, folks! LaCruz was unreal, he looks like he is in his MVP form and that usually spells a win for us but in this game, it wasn't the issue. Losing by 1 point on a buzzer beater is just unfortunate, but we need to bounce back and be ready the next game out. We need to defend well and have a balance attack." Assistant Coach Alton Wilkes commented after the game.
