Why didn’t Jaguars trade for a JBL All Star.

MEXICO CITY - We have improved from winning 32% of our games in 2020, 46% in 2021 and 59% in 2022 with the same nucleus of players Kahlil Hooker, Jamaal Adams, Antonio Vega and Ashley Winters these players along with resigned coach Bucky Robinson deserve the right to complete this journey and contend for a Championship in the next 3 years.

There has been debate on Salary Cap issues the Jags will face trying to sign players coming off Rookie Contracts but sitting down and fully analysing the roster for the next 3 – 5 Years holding onto to our core group of players gives us the best chance of a sustained run at multiple titles instead of a quick 1 year and blow it up situation.

So instead of trading for an All Star we decided to move up in the draft and get our potential Hall of Famer in Juwan Hughes. This means if we fail in our quest for a championship in the next 3 years we then have a player we can hopefully rebuild around and continue our run.
