Preseason Team Bonding Embraced by some but not all at the Crusaders.

BOSTON - Members of the Crusader Squad have just returned from their pre-training camp team-bonding exercises today and GM Jones expressed his satisfaction with how most of his new recruits fit in with the rest of the Squad.
“We like to get everyone away together for a relaxing camp,” said Jones, “as we think there’s no better way to get to know each other than around the campfire with a couple of beers.”
“It was great to get experienced players Parker and Ilic chatting with other members of our young Squad,” said Coach Jackson, “and also make the young guys West and Porter comfortable around the team. It’s just disappointing that Porter was hurt as he couldn’t participate in all of the activities.”
Sources say Ilic was a little standoffish during the Camp but that could be just because the Serbian didn’t understand what anyone else was saying.
Sources say that Northwood and Hodges really drove the team building exercises, cementing their status as team leader whilst Franchise Star Devon Harrell was a motivator in terms of ensuring everyone was on the same page for continual improvement before their training camp this preseason.
Not everyone was happy about the camp though. A player who sought to remain anonymous had this to say about the camp. “What a ridiculous idea. We’re JBL stars. Why the hell would we want to stay in tents. I’m not here to make friends I am here to win games.”
It’s known that GM Jones is not happy about these comments from a player and hopes their negative influence doesn’t spill over into the locker room. It’s wondered what Jones will do if he finds out who was making these comments.
