PHOENIX - Late in the first round of the 2023 draft, Vultures GM sik_air held up the action for freakin' ages while #29 pick trade talks progressed with multiple interested parties. Eventually, it was moved to the Jaguars for their 2026 1st round pick.

A Vultures spokesperson issued a short statement thanking the #29 pick for its valuable contribution during its tenure with the franchise and welcomed the Jaguars 2026 1st round pick, which the coaching staff believes "has a bright future" and "looks forward to developing". The Jaguars selected 6'10 PF/C Justin Moore from North Carolina at #29.

For the Vultures, it completed a non-eventful draft strategy as they went into the offseason with 4 picks and ended up with zero rookies. The team acquired 3 future picks in return.
