CINCINNATI - The Kings announced today that they have parted ways with head coach Elliot Brennan after three years in charge of the team. The new management has plans to go in a different direction in the coming seasons, and will attempt to hire a coach that more directly matches their long-term goals.

“There is absolutely no truth to the rumor that management was jealous that Mr. Brennan was getting a bulk of the credit in the media for the Kings’ turnaround this season,“ said the Kings’ GM, “and by the way Mr. Brennan was also in charge two years ago when the Kings were terrible.”

Over three season, Brennan had a record of 112-119, including playoffs. This season Brennan won his first playoff series in 11 head-coaching seasons in the JBL.
