Colonels obtain Kuberka in trade for Vitas, Kidd and 2nd Roundd Pick

The Louisville Colonels agreed to a deal acquiring veteran guard Tyson Kuberka:

PG Tyson Kuberka $23.5M (NOH)

for

PF/SF Stoyanov Vitas $9.3M (LOU)
PG Sebastian Kidd $4.5M (LOU)
2023 2nd Round Pick

The Colonels strengthen its core by acquiring veteran guard Tyson Kuberka from the Hurricanes. The move is to address their need at the point position as well as addressing the issue in which Star veteran forward Simon Hartford has of adding another star.

This move ties up big cap space for the next 3 years with Hartford and Kuberka contracts but will also address salary floor concern for the next few seasons. The move will at least give the Colonels be a competitive team while the foundations of the squad Point Forward Uman Akele and Scoring Wing Trendon Knox still developing.

Colonels GM Jae Rob isnt available for comments but reports said that he wishes Vitas and Kidd the best in New Orleans and ecstatic with Kuberka's arrival.
