Bullets send Randolph to the Vipers

  • By Andrew Taylor, Day 120, 2021

BALTIMORE - This evening the Bullets front office completed a trade with the Pittsburgh Vipers. The deal is as follows.

Baltimore sends
Hakim Randolph

to Pittsburgh for
Vipers 2023 2nd Round Pick, Kebrell Booker, Orlando Verderber and Anthony Long.

Baltimore GM Andrew Taylor explained the move as follows in a short statement.

"As many have speculated Hakim Randolph was signed in large part to provide the team with an additional asset to utilize this season. However we strongly hoped that he would play a role within our rotation. WIth the trades that have been completed this year that hasn't happened and with the deadline approaching we believe this trade is best for both parties. We receive some expiring contracts and a 2nd rounder while the Vipers will give Hakim a much better opportunity to show his wares as he heads back into free agency. He has been a consummate professional during his time here and we wish him the best."
