Day 89/Game 33: Drones (22-20) @ Knights (10-34)
Record vs. Knights: 1-5 (A: 0-3)
Avg. Margin of Victory: -6.3

A tight first half would end with an 8-1 flurry thanks to a pair of three balls from Ali and Carroll to give us a 71-62 lead at the half. We would start the half where we left off as a 12-2 run to start the second all but ends this game for the building Knights team. We cruise on for a 136-117 win.

Key Stat of the Game
42.5%. We shoot 17/40 from distance, outscoring Kansas City by 36 points from 3P.

Random Notes
• A solid performance all around as we post a +16.6 Net Rtg for the game
Trayvon Gibbs posted another double-double with 16 & 10

Day 92/Game 34: Drones (23-20) vs. Thunder (25-19)
Record vs. Thunder: 2-5 (H: 1-2)
Avg. Margin of Victory: -4.7

We get a Thunder squad missing Jamar Walcutt who is out with an injury and take full advantage right from the get go. The lead was 37-20 after one led by 13 points from RW II and 12 points from Khalen Anthony. We would continue to extend the lead as it would finally balloon to 35 points midway through the 4th on our way to a 128-106 victory.

Key Stat of the Game
9. Seattle would only score 9 points off of the 17 turnovers we would commit.

Top Performers
3rd Star: PF Trayvon Gibbs (25.7 GmSc) 26p | 9r | 1a | 1s | 1b (11/16 FG, 3/5 3P, 1/1 FT)
2nd Star: SG Andre Phifer (28.1 GmSc) 34p | 3r | 6a | 5s (15/25 FG, 2/6 3P, 2/3 FT)
1st Star: SG Raefael Williams II (30.9 GmSc) 38p | 10r | 5a | 3s (16/29 FG, 4/10 3P, 2/3 FT)

Random Notes
• Anthony would finish with 19 points and 6 boards in 20 minutes
Caius Springer’s line of 9-6-14 outplayed potential ROY Mitchell Butler Jr who clearly missed Walcutt

Day 94/Game 35: Drones (24-20) vs. Scorpions (11-35)
Record vs. Scorpions: 1-6 (H: 1-2)
Avg. Margin of Victory: -9.1

Some roster shuffling during our last game against the Scorps likely came back to bite us and we didn’t want to fall into that trap again. The first half would see us jump out to an 8-point lead only to see Las Vegas come back and take their sole lead of the game. By halftime we were up 11 and that lead would get up to as much as 20 points in the second half as we rout the Scorpions 117-103.

Key Stat of the Game
9. We only turn the ball over 9 times and when we combine that with our shooting ability it’s a tough hill to climb for the opposition.

Top Performers
3rd Star: C Trey Astbury (20.2 GmSc) 23p | 2r | 1s | 1b (12/17 FG, 0/1 3P, 1/4 FT)

1st Star: SG Raefael Williams II (35.5 GmSc) 40p | 4r | 7a | 4s | 2b (15/25 FG, 7/11 3P, 3/4 FT)

Random Notes
• RW II crosses the 40-point mark for the 4th time this season
Caius Springer dished out a career high 15 assists
Michel Saint-Jean would also dish out 15 assists in this game

Day 95/Game 36: Drones (25-20) @ Vipers (27-18)
Record vs. Vipers: 8-2 (A: 4-2)
Avg. Margin of Victory: 4.3

A close back and forth game for about a half as he contained 8 lead changes and 10 ties, but we just didn’t have the legs in the second half with this being a road game on a back-to-back. A 10-0 run early in the 3rd quarter was the key ignitor as the Vipers go on to win a key battle 120-101.

Key Stat of the Game
47.3%. Our eFG% was held in check by the grit and grind approach from the Vipers.

Top Performers
3rd Star: PF Reggie Fortier (20.4 GmSc) 24p | 6r | 4a | 2s | 3b (8/20 FG, 2/3 3P, 6/7 FT)
2nd Star: SG Raefael Williams II (26.6 GmSc) 35p | 11r | 4a | 1s (14/29 FG, 5/11 3P, 2/3 FT)
1st Star: C Rashaad Haslem (29.6 GmSc) 23p | 16r | 8a | 3b (11/15 FG, 0/1 3P, 1/1 FT)

Random Notes
• We get outrebounded 58-47 with the Vipers gaining a 10-point advantage in second chance points
• Gibbs would be our second leading scorer with 21 with our only other double-digit scorer being DeVaughn Wilkinson’s 13 points

Day 98/Game 37: Drones (25-21) @ Barons (11-36)
Record vs. Barons: 4-2 (A: 1-2)
Avg. Margin of Victory: 3.7

If we want to stay in the playoff race, then this is the type of game we need to win. We answer the opening bell and jump out to a 36-25 lead after one and would maintain an 8 to 10 point advantage for most of the game. The Barons would close the gap to one point early in the fourth but that is as close as they would get as a 6-0 run via buckets from RW II, Carroll and Davis pushed the lead out to 93-86 with nine minutes remaining. We go on to a 122-109 victory.

Key Stat of the Game
26.7%. We hold the Barons to a rough shooting game from three as Dutch, DeVonte Hale and Roy Ellington combine to shoot 3/16.

Top Performers
3rd Star: PF Devan Carroll (23.3 GmSc) 29p | 10r | 4a | 2s | 1b (11/25 FG, 6/13 3P, 1/2 FT)
2nd Star: SG Raefael Williams II (26.7 GmSc) 35p | 6r | 4a | 2s | 3b (13/24 FG, 2/7 3P, 7/7 FT)
1st Star: PF Trayvon Gibbs (28.6 GmSc) 24p | 13r | 2a | 2s | 4b (8/13 FG, 4/7 3P, 4/7 FT)

Random Notes
Daniel Pedroso would leave the game with a strained hamstring and will miss the next 9 days
Khalen Anthony continues to yo-yo his performances as he scores 17 on 8/12 shooting
DeVaughn Wilkinson has an evening he’d like to forget as he scores 3 points on 0/8 from the floor and 0/6 from 3P.

Day 100/Game 38: Drones (26-21) @ Colonels (27-19)
Record vs. Colonels: 13-1 (A: 6-0)
Avg. Margin of Victory: 6.9

This was always going to be an uphill battle and when you add in the loss of Pedroso plus no lineup adjustments by the coaching staff it spelled disaster from the start. RW II would end up playing all 48 minutes in a game where we trailed for 46+ minutes. The Colonels would see 7 players reach double-digits in scoring as they rout us 114-95 at home.

Key Stat of the Game
46.6%. The Colonels shut us down as our eFG% was not up to snuff in this game. It didn’t help that our rotations were screwed up, but we still likely lose this game on the road anyway.

Top Performers
3rd Star: C Khalen Anthony (17.1 GmSc) 18p | 10r | 3a | 1s | 1b (7/14 FG, 2/4 3P, 2/3 FT)
2nd Star: SF Keyshwan Benjamin (18.0 GmSc) 19p | 8r | 3s | 1b (6/15 FG, 4/7 3P, 3/3 FT)
1st Star: C Kelvin Hawes (21.1 GmSc) 22p | 14r | 1s | 1b (7/14 FG, 0/1 3P, 8/14 FT)

Random Notes
• RW II would be the leading scorer on this night with 32 points; however, it would take him 33 shots to get there
• Both Anthony and Gibbs would tally double-doubles in the defeat

Day 103/Game 39: Drones (26-22) vs. Renegades (26-22)
Record vs. Renegades: 7-4 (H: 4-3)
Avg. Margin of Victory: 1.5

The Renegades come into this with a new look then last time around. Taquan Slattery, formerly of our division rival Atlanta Devils, is now rocking the green and black. We come out strong to the tune of 40 points in the first led by Godwin Kite’s 11 points. We continue to keep the lead and balloon it up to 19 points with just over six minutes to play in the third and then all of a sudden, the Renegades go on a tear. The 19-2 run gets them within a single bucket and the fourth quarter is a dog fight as we keep the visitors at bay just long enough to leave with the 126-124 victory.

Key Stat of the Game
16. New York struggled mightily from the free throw line shooting just 32/48 and leaving a possible 16 points on the table.

Top Performers
3rd Star: SG Raefael Williams II (23.2 GmSc) 30p | 3r | 2a | 4s | 2b (10/17 FG, 6/8 3P, 4/5 FT)
2nd Star: PF Taquan Slattery (27.7 GmSc) 33p | 10r | 2a | 4b (10/19 FG, 0/1 3P, 13/18 FT)
1st Star: PG Devon Harrell (33.3 GmSc) 41p | 6r | 6a | 6s | 1b (13/24 FG, 4/9 3P, 11/16 FT)

Random Notes
Khalen Anthony returned to the starting lineup as we make some rotation adjustments with Pedroso out. He rewards us with a 16 & 12 double-double
• Wilkinson has his best game in a while with a line of 17-6-6

Day 105/Game 40: Drones (27-22) @ Crusaders (8-42)
Record vs. Crusaders: 9-5 (A: 4-3)
Avg. Margin of Victory: 3.9

Another game we need to win to keep pace in the East. The first half sees a little back and forth as it ends even at 53. An 11-0 run midway through the 3rd puts us down 76-63 with 2:14 let in the quarter. We answer immediately with a 16-4 run to make it a game early in the 4th and we close out the game with a 17-10 run to win 110-102.

Key Stat of the Game
80%. We go 20/25 from the FT line as we outscore the Crusaders by 8 at the charity stripe.

Top Performers
3rd Star: PF Devan Carroll (19.3 GmSc) 17p | 6r | 4a | 2s | 3b (5/11 FG, 1/6 3P, 6/6 FT)
2nd Star: SG Raefael Williams II (23.5 GmSc) 33p | 8r | 3a | 2s | 1b (13/24 FG, 5/10 3P, 2/2 FT)
1st Star: SG Tyrese Porter (28.8 GmSc) 31p | 4r | 5a | 2s | 1b (11/17 FG, 8/11 3P, 1/2 FT)

Random Notes
Trayvon Gibbs would score 17 off the bench to along with a team high 8 rebounds
• No Boston player outside of Porter, Hooker or West would score 10 points

Day 107/Game 41: Drones (28-22) vs. Barons (12-40)
Record vs. Barons: 5-2 (H: 2-2)
Avg. Margin of Victory: 5.0

The Barons come to The Beehive and smack us in the mouth in the first quarter as they lead 37-28 after one having been up by as much as 11. It’s a different story in the second as we force the Barons into 20 missed shots as we win the quarter by a 17-point margin. This OKC team showed no quit as they rallied back and even took a 5-point lead with 3:16 left in the 3rd. A 33-10 run over the next 12 minutes would put this game out of reach as we go onto win 112-93.

Key Stat of the Game
38.8%. We held the Barons to an awful shooting percentage as they go 38/98 from the floor.

Top Performers
3rd Star: PF Trayvon Gibbs (17.9 GmSc) 19p | 5r | 2a (8/10 FG, 2/3 3P, 1/3 FT)
2nd Star: SG Raefael Williams II (18.7 GmSc) 28p | 10r | 5a (10/21 FG, 4/9 3P, 4/4 FT)
1st Star: C Dondre Mitchell (20.1 GmSc) 22p | 11r | 3a | 1b (8/17 FG, 3/6 3P, 3/3 FT)

Random Notes
• We lose Godwin Kite for 12-14 weeks to a torn calf muscle suffered early on in the 4th quarter
Daniel Pedroso makes his return following his injury to post a 11-6-3 line
• Our bench unit would go on to win the battle of the benches 47-22
• Despite the final score, OKC actually led for 23:05
• The oddest stat of the game was the Barons held an 18-0 advantage for points off turnovers

Day 108/Game 42: Drones (29-22) vs. Jailbirds (34-18)
Record vs. Jailbirds: 1-10 (H: 0-4)
Avg. Margin of Victory: -6.8

Jevon Novak and Jason Cheaney are guys you don’t want to face on the second half of a back-to-back, but that is the challenge we face. In what ends up as one of the more entertaining games of our season, this game featured 13 lead changes and 11 ties with the biggest lead only reaching 9 points which occurred with 3 minutes left in the game. Other than that it was within 6 the entire way. Down 6 with 0:54 left and with Devan Carroll hobbled, he picked up a thigh contusion with 3:13 left in the 4th yet stayed in the game, Trayvon Gibbs would pick up his 15 rebound of the night and we get the ball up the court with DeVaughn Wilkinson at the handle. He finds RW II who launches from about 26 feet and nails it with 0:43 left. We fouled Antoine Willis as he was forced to accept the inbounds pass and he misses both free throws. Williams would miss a contested bucket at the rim and Gibbs would get his putback attempt blocked out of bounds by Willis.

A foul by Dameon Clarke with 0:16 left would reset the shot clock and Caius Springer would nail a long three to tie it at 118 with 13 ticks left. We would force Novak into a backcourt violation (0:09 remaining) as we decide to half-court trap out of the timeout. Our inbounds play would get Wilkinson streaking to the rim and Willis would come over for another block here in the last minute. This time Willis is able to secure the loose ball and call the timeout with 0:05 to go. Cheaney would get the ball out of the timeout and he would dribble drive and finish at the rim to give the Jailbirds a two-point lead with one second left. We would find RW II with a contested three point look out of the timeout and his potential game winner hits back iron and doesn’t fall. We lose 120-118.

Key Stat of the Game
7. Chicago would benefit from 7 extra points off of a +6 turnover margin in their favor

Top Performers
3rd Star: PF Trayvon Gibbs (19.7 GmSc) 21p | 16r | 2s (10/15 FG, 1/3 3P, 0/3 FT)
2nd Star: SF Kane Thomas (23.5 GmSc) 23p | 3r | 2a | 1s | 2b (9/12 FG, 3/5 3P, 2/3 FT)
1st Star: SG Raefael Williams II (38.0 GmSc) 48p | 11r | 4a | 3b (19/35 FG, 7/14 3P, 3/3 FT)

Random Notes
Devan Carroll will be out a week with the thigh contusion he picked up
• RW II’s 48 points are a career high and the 5th time he crossed the 40-point threshold in 2026.
• This is also RW II’s 10th double-double of 2026 and 22nd of his career
• Tough loss to swallow when you hold Novak and Cheaney to 31 combined points and 10/28 shooting

Day 111/Game 43: Drones (29-23) vs. Lumberjacks (34-20)
Record vs. Lumberjacks: 4-3 (H: 2-1)
Avg. Margin of Victory: -5.4

We get the jump on Portland at home and never look back on our way to a 127-101 victory.

Key Stat of the Game
130.9. Our ORtg against the defensive wizards that are the Lumberjacks

• Our bench outscores Portland 52-36 led by double-digit efforts from Anthony (11), Pedroso (12), Eric Holden (10) and Avery Morrison (14)
Deji Ali has his best game as a pro as he posts a line of 2-5-12

Day 112/Game 44: Drones (30-23) @ Skyhawks (24-28)
Record vs. Skyhawks: 2-5 (A: 1-2)
Avg. Margin of Victory: -1.7

Another back-to-back as the schedule continues to compact as we close in on the All-Star Break. We keep the game tight throughout the first two quarters, but it all goes south in the 3rd. A 19-2 run for the St. Louis puts this one out of reach as we are just too tired with no rest and the recent rash of injuries. The Skyhawks win 119-105.

Key Stat of the Game
24. As a team we rank 4th in the JBL in bench scoring with close to 38 a game. We are held to just 24 as a number of our reserve players are injured

Top Performers
3rd Star: SG Mark Phillips (25.2 GmSc) 23p | 9r | 5a | 2s | 1b (8/10 FG, 4/5 3P, 3/4 FT)

1st Star: C Mark Hunter (29.0 GmSc) 32p | 11r | 4a | 2b (12/21 FG, 1/2 3P, 7/9 FT)

Random Notes
• The Skyhawks were extremely efficient and post a 135.2 ORtg
• We shoot 15/29 from 3P with Eric Holden going 4/4 on his way to a career high 16 points

Day 115/Game 45: Drones (30-24) @ Devils (19-35)
Record vs. Devils: 12-3 (A: 4-3)
Avg. Margin of Victory: 7.7

This marks our first time matching up with the Slattery-less Devils. We hold a one-point lead at the half, but the Devils would score first in the 3rd quarter and never look back. We lose on the road 112-102.

Key Stat of the Game
24. For the second straight game we are held to 24 points from the bench as Atlanta gets 55 from their unit

1st Star: PF Trayvon Gibbs (27.8 GmSc) 26p | 12r | 2a | 1s | 3b (10/16 FG, 3/6 3P, 3/3 FT)

Random Notes
• Gibbs posts his 8th double-double in 23 games for Charlotte
• RW II would score 25 points to be our second leading scorer
Avery Morrison got his first start of the season and posted our 2nd highest game score as he goes for a 11 & 12 double-double

Day 117/Game 46: Drones (30-25) @ Vipers (33-23)
Record vs. Vipers: 8-3 (A: 4-3)
Avg. Margin of Victory: 2.2

This game was a slog as the halftime score had us in front 47-37. The second half is when the Vipers came alive as they would score 34 points in each of the final two quarters as they go on to a 105-97 victory in a game where we led for 36+ minutes.

Key Stat of the Game
0. It’s pretty tough to win a game when the other team doesn’t turn it over a single time. The Vipers would use this advantage to outscore us by 10 in the points off turnovers category.

Top Performers
3rd Star: SG Triston Lane (21.3 GmSc) 17p | 17r | 10a | 2s | 3b (8/28 FG, 1/4 3P)
2nd Star: SF Reggie Fortier (21.9 GmSc) 26p | 13r | 5a | 1b (9/26 FG, 2/4 3P, 6/6 FT)

Random Notes
• This game marks the first time since 1999 where a team turned it over zero times in a game
• The Vipers 42.9% eFG was much less than our 52.2% which is usually good for a win, but for those lack of turnovers
• The Vipers would total two more FG’s than the Drones on 24 additional shots
• Our losing streak has now reached 3 and 4 of our last 5

Day 120/Game 47: Drones (30-26) @ Hurricanes (9-49)
Record vs. Hurricanes: 9-5 (A: 5-2)
Avg. Margin of Victory: 3.5

The final game before the All-Star break finds us in New Orleans. A victory today would find us with the exact record at the break last season. We jump out quick and hold a 36-20 lead after one as we never trail in this one as we maintain a comfortable lead throughout and win 133-125.

Key Stat of the Game
63. Our bench finally took the lid off the basket and found their rhythm

Top Performers
3rd Star: C Khalen Anthony (19.4 GmSc) 24p | 7r | 3a | 3b (9/17 FG, 1/7 3P, 5/7 FT)

• RW II is currently the 13th leading scorer in the JBL at 25.3 ppg as he is currently shooting 46.7/40.3/86.3. At Per36 he would be 6th in the JBL
Devan Carroll finishes what could be his final game in a Drones jersey with 21-4-5
