HOUSTON - Two teams are on the docket for Houston and we are able to split both of them.

Scorps 93; Lightning 102:
Extra motivation for Houston as we want to increase the amount of losses for Vegas, as we own their pick. They happily agree to this and we cruise fairly easily after a close first quarter. The stars for Houston Worthington who has 20/18, Qwan with 21/12, and McConnell with 13/12. We also get some bench scoring for Nix as he scores 17. Price also has a solid day with 7 points, 12 boards, and 6 assists. Carter Barlow returned from injury and went 1 for 7 with 3 points. Black had 23/15 for the Scorps

Thunder 129; Lightning 120
The teams that are supposed to be rivals meet up and Thunder strikes harder than Lightning. Qwan had a solid day with 19/12 and Nix had another solid showing off the bench with 21 on 8 of 9 shooting, but our defense failed us with Phifer going off for 50 and Rowland had 29 as they combined to shoot 30 of 51 and 13 of 26 from 3 point range. Rookie sensation Jamar Walcutt had 10/14 in the win.
