Predators Acquire Wade

DALLAS - The Dallas Predators are delighted to announce the first addition to the franchise. Combo guard Jermaine Wade has been acquired from the New Orleans Hurricanes in exchange for the Predators 1st round pick in the upcoming JBL entry draft.

Predators GM Jeff Weideman said he was ecstatic to obtain the player and was adamant the best had yet to come from the young guard. Weideman added, "I've had my eye on Jermaine for quite a while and thought here's a player who maybe needs a move to further his abilities."

Wade, who recently turned 22, was drafted 14th overall by the Los Angeles Fireballs in 2018. He played one season in LA before being traded to the Hurricanes, along with Ray McArdle. In three seasons Wade has averaged 15.3 points per game.
