Vulture's move up in draft, acquire #7 from Bullets

PHOENIX -
The Vultures today moved up in the draft in an effort to secure a starting lineup prospect in the 2021 draft, acquiring the #7 pick from the Bullets for its #11 and centre Dimitri Ilic.

Sources say that while Vults viewed Ilic as a good prospect to develop into a modern big in today's JBL, the lineup dynamic had shifted with the acquisition of Drayton Banks in 2019 and the need for a more physical, traditional presence at the five.

sik_air stated, "We wish Dimitri well for his future career and look forward to seeing how far he can take his potential with the expansion Bullets. For us, our focus now turns back to the draft, where we clearly have some holes to fill in our lineup. Vults Vults Vults."
