Lumberjacks Make Historic First Trade

  • By Tim Wallis, Day 1, 2021

PORTLAND - The Portland Lumberjacks have made the first trade in their history by sending a future 2nd rounder to the Jaguars for two 2nd round picks in the upcoming draft.

"With 15 roster spots to fill, we've always intended on being heavily involved at our first draft," GM Tim Wallis announced this evening.

"We've had people keeping track of a lot of young talent in the college ranks this year, and we're confident that we can pick up some guys that can find a role in Portland and grow with the team."

The Lumberjacks now own picks 8, 38, 45, 58 and 63 in the draft.
