Los Angeles Fireballs Calls "The Forum" as their New Home

LOS ANGELES - Earlier this week the Los Angeles Fireballs ownership has hinted that they will be leaving the Fireballs Arena to a much better stadium to accommodate the growing fanbase of the team. With the recent success in the past 2 seasons the appeal to move the team to a much better home has been an easy one. Especially coming off a Finals appearance in which the team eventually lost to Nashville Stars.

It has been reported by several media outlets that the Fireballs are keen on moving to the famed "The Forum" arena in which has been an iconic piece of Los Angeles sports history. The newly renovated The Forum boasts state-of-the-art improvements in which has been in construction since early 2019, The Forum has been ready for occupation since last season but the lease agreement at the Fireballs Arena have made it difficult to form an early release buyout in which the team has to shoulder 2020's lease + 2-year release clause in which it states that upon buyout the organization still needs to hold events at the arena, so technically they would have to pay for 2 leases at once. The organization chose to run 2020 season as their last lease year and that allows them to buyout 2021's lease and revoke the 2 season release clause.

"It is such an honor and a privilege for the team to call The Forum our home, a piece of California sports history and we've been in talks with them since last season and with our lawyers ironing out the last few details I am proud to officially announce that The Forum will be Los Angeles Fireballs' new home court." GM Jron addresses the press.

It is such a perfect timing that the JBL is expanding and with the new era of JBL we are witnessing LA going vintage with relocating to a historical stadium. All details upon the relocation will be discussed in the following weeks upon the finalizing of the lease agreement.
